Thai esports organization XERXIA Esports have parted ways with Warittorn “ROLEX” Kalanukan and Wattanachok “aLerT” Yingnakorn after their contracts expired and the players decided not to renew them.

Both players joined XERXIA in January. The first tournament they played together was Split 1 of VCL Thailand. The team went 3–4 in the Group Stage, which was good enough for sixth place. However, they missed missed the Playoffs. In March, XERXIA played in the Gaming Nation Valorant Thailand Championship Season 2 tournament, where they placed second. XERXIA made some minor roster changes for Split 2of VCL Thailand and it paid off. This time around, the Thai org went 4–3 in the Regular Season, which gave them the #2 seed heading into the Playoffs. In the Playoffs, the whole team stepped up and managed to win the Grand Finals over FULL SENSE to give them a spot in Pacific Ascension. They went 2–2 in the Group Stage of Ascension and unfortunately it wasn’t enough to advance them to the Playoffs, so their run ended there.

XERXIA also competed in a few offseason tournaments, such as AfreecaTV Valorant League, ESL Clash of Nations 2023, and Predator League Thailand 2024. However, the results weren’t the greatest, as they failed to qualify for the Main Event in any of those tournaments.

ROLEX and aLerT will now look for new opportunities ahead of the upcoming VCL season while XERXIA will look to fill their spots. Former Manager and Analyst for XERXIA Akarawin “VPZ” Montha has also posted on X (formerly Twitter) that he’s looking for new opportunities.

With these recent changes, XERXIA Esports is now:

  • Eisuke “LBY” Kuraoka
  • Siraphop “siraphop” Honghirun
  • Tanawat “xZe” Kannark
  • Sakthithat “Vickyz” Phattharaampornchal
  • Kitsada “bnw” Pookamroong (Head Coach)
