North American esports organization M80 have announced their new Valorant roster for the upcoming 2024 VCL season. The team consists of Zander, koalanoob, NiSMO, BcJ, and nitr0.

The trio of Zander, koalanoob, and NiSMO all competed with M80 in the last two splits of VCL North America in 2023. They placed 1st in Split 1 and 3rd in Split 2, accumulating 39 circuit points. Additionally, M80 beat G2 Esports 3–1 in the Grand Finals of the Mid-Season Face Off to earn another 10 circuit points.

Ultimately, M80 amassed enough points to qualify as the #1 seed heading into the VCL NA Playoffs. Here, they beat teams such as Shopify Rebellion, Oxygen Esports, and Moist Moguls to advance to the Grand Finals without dropping a single map. There, they also beat the fan favorite team The Guard 3–1 to qualify for the VCT Americas Ascension tournament.

In Ascension, M80 was placed into Group A, where they went 1–1. Later in the playoffs, they found themselves in the Lower Bracket after a 0–2 loss to The Guard in the Upper Semifinals. M80 then beat 9z Team and The Union to advance all the way to the Grand Finals. The best of five Grand Finals was yet again another rematch between the two NA giants. However, this time around, The Guard were the victorious ones, winning 3–1.

After the tournament, all the players were allowed to look for new opportunities. Players johnqt and eeiu later left the team, with the former joining Sentinels and the latter joining 100 Thieves. Announced in November, the newest addition to the team was former Evil Geniuses and XSET player BcJ. Returning to the team for the upcoming season is the trio of Zander, koalanoob, and NiSMO. They are joined by former 100 Thieves player n1tro, who completes the team. He most recently competed in CS:GO for Team Liquid. Head Coach Happy and Analyst GUNTER are returning as well.

Split 1 of VCL North America is set to start in February.
