Czech esports organization Enterprise has announced the transfer of Patrik “Minny” Hušek to GoNext Esports.
The 18-year-old has competed in Valorant for Enterprise since March 2022, when the organization signed the free agent roster Podnik. Minny also competed under Enterprise from 2020 to 2021 when he played professional Fortnite.
Since switching to Valorant in December 2021, the Czech player got right into the competitive scene, playing for Podnik in the VRL East qualifiers and later the VEU cups, which is how him and the team qualified for the league.
On March 27th 2022, Enterprise Esports announced the signing of the Podnik roster, which consisted of Cantzer, Elysium, MaFiN, Minny, and alexiiik. This full Czech roster, filled with young talent and experienced players, went on to have decent success in the Eastern European VRL/VCL league. In Stage 2 of the 2022 season, they placed 7th. However, in the offseason, Enterprise played numerous tournaments with the goal of improvement. They beat teams such as Fire Flux Esports, Ovation Esports, and Anonymo Esports.
On December 17th 2022, Enterprise announced the addition of former Fortnite superstar benjyfishy to the team in favor of Elysium, who was benched in November. This roster move proved to be successful, as the team placed second in both VCL East splits in 2023. The team even qualified for VCT EMEA Ascension Play-Ins.
During the offseason, Minny continued to play with Enterprise in tournaments such as VEU and Grunex Challenge #3, where they had good success. The Czech player also stood in for MENA team Gamax Esports in Connecta The Ultimate Battle, which was a $10,000 tournament. The team ended up placing fourth.
Minny made his debut with Greek organization GoNext Esports in the Mandatory Cup this offseason. The team managed to qualify for the event through the Open Qualifier, which took place from December 9th to December 10th. GoNext ultimately placed 7th in the Main Event, after a loss in the group stage to Acend and a win over SAW. Due to the format, however, they didn’t advance to the playoffs.
GoNext Esports also announced the retirement of tsack. The Greek player has competed for teams such as FNATIC and Team Queso in the past, while most recently playing for GoNext since March. However, he isn’t leaving the organization altogether, as he will stay on the roster as Strategic Coach & Analyst.
Minny and GoNext will be set to play in Stage 1 of VCL East: Surge, which starts on January 15, 2024.
