Complexity Gaming announced on X (formerly Twitter) that they are allowing their VCT Game Changers roster to look for other opportunities. Their GX3 team, which has been one of the top North American Game Changers teams for a while now, has less than a month to try to find new teams before the next Stage of Game Changers starts.

According to Complexity, these changes come as the result of the organization not having enough time to cement their current path forward due to 2024 GC1 registration taking place from January 4th to 12th, and the tournament starting January 23rd. They also added that they aren’t permanently leaving the Game Changers scene, but rather prioritizing their players first and hoping they can all find individual opportunities or offers elsewhere. In the past, Complexity has shown great commitment to the North American Game Changers scene, having had a team for over two years as well as hosting events such as the Cozy Clash and Paradox Invitational. However, at this time, it’s unclear when they will announce their return to the scene.

Complexity GX3 has competed in several tournaments over the years and some of their biggest accomplishments include placing second in the Cozy Clash tournament, second in 2023 NA GC Stage 3, fourth in 2023 NA GC Stage 2, and a couple of first place finishes in the Sakura Cups. They have accumulated over $45,000 in earnings.

Several other organizations have pulled out of the Game Changers scene the past few months as well in a concerning trend.

Complexity GX3’s roster, now inactive, was:

  • Jasmine “Jazzyk1ns” Manankil
  • Claudia “clawdia” Che
  • Aara “Karra” Lee
  • “rayse”
  • Lacey “L4CE” Dilworth
  • Joseph “Coach Joe” Breuer (Coach)
  • Derek “sloth” Diaz (Coach)
