Ukrainian esports organization B8 Esports have announced their new Valorant roster for Split 1 of VCL East: Surge. The team consists of arch, kvmilhvh, WanZeru, Nunmeister, and Kajuks.

arch and kvmilhvh are the only two remaining players from B8’s roster the last two seasons. They placed eighth in Split 1 and seventh in Split 2 of VCL East, missing out on the Playoffs both times. The team was then faced with being in the Relegation match against DEMURY, but were able to win 3–0 to retain their spot in the league for next season.

Newcomers WanZeru and Nunmeister are two young up and coming Czech players. They have played in a number of offseason tournaments in the Eastern European region, both putting up notable stats and at one point even standing in for Enterprise Esports during the VEU tournament. Additionally, they both competed with fully-Czech team MRVZT in the VCL East Open Qualifiers, where they got all the way to the Lower Bracket Semi Finals.

Rounding out the roster is Lithuanian player Kajuks. The 19-year-old has been playing in the Tier 3 scene for some time now, bouncing around between the East and Italian regions. However, wherever he plays, Kajuks has made an impact, with him being known as one of the best up and coming players. He last competed for NOVO Esports, armani briefs, and RIZON. Additionally, the Lithuanian stood in for Diamant Esports during their time in the offseason VEU tournament and has also played with a few different mixes this offseason.

Before switching to VCL East in 2023, B8 Esports competed in the CIS region.

VCL East: Split 1 is set to start on January 15th.
